I'm patriotic, I'm heroic,
I killed a child with my hands.
I'm American; I'm a soldier,
I killed in the name of my land.
I'm a leader; I'm a warrior,
And I surely don't have no fear.
Then why do I go and fight over there?
'Cos I'm afraid that they'll come here.
They threaten my freedom, they threaten my life,
They jeopardise my free will.
That's why we need to 'stop' them,
That's we need to kill.
I don't need to justify what I do,
For that has already been done.
Yet the battles will always be raging,
And the war will never be won.
