Barry Cashin
(over 22)
Where blood now flows through veins instead of streets
Where silence falls to calm the sound of rifles
And all around the scent of new horizons
Take me there.
Where angels make their marks among the many
Where bitterness is tempered with a smile
And all around is history in the making
Take me there.
Where beauty is a thing for all to cherish
Where hatred fumes, locked within it’s cell
And nations walk together with shared vision
Take us there.
