At Spiraluniverse, we facilitate an online community with strong Christian ethos. We however do not guarantee the integrity of users. To make this site easy to use, content is not necessarily reviewed by us before posting and does not necessarily reflect the policies or opinions of Spiraluniverse. We reserve the right to determine and modify or remove any inappropriate content. This includes, but is not limited to the right to:

• send you warnings via any means of communication;
• confirm the accuracy of any material and monitor any user’s access;
• delete any content which we consider inappropriate without warning or prior notice to users;
• discontinue, suspend or restrict your membership on Spiraluniverse and its affiliated sites;
• investigate and take any appropriate action should users engage in any illegal or prohibited activities on Spiraluniverse; and
• withdraw our consent, at any time, to inappropriate or outdated links.

We try to ensure that the content and information on the Spiraluniverse site is as accurate as possible. However, since over 90% of our content is user generated, shared policing is the best way to ensure the security of this site. Flags have been places at the bottom of each page, and if any of the content offends you, please help us as much as possible by clicking on the flags to report the content. We however reserve the right to determine the suitability of the content.

Spiraluniverse will determine the confidentiality of submitted information and is free to keep and republish such information and reuse it in its discretion.  To this end, Spiraluniverse reserves the right to recognize authors and the use to which it puts the information.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error free or up-to-date content. Although we try to minimize any unwarranted and preventable disruption to services, we may occasionally have technical problems or software upgrades which may result in the disruption of service or loss of data.

Eligibility and registration

You must be at least 18 years old to register and use Spiraluniverse.

To register, you will need to make up a user name and choose a password. You are responsible for all activities under your username, so keep this safe.

We reserve the right to delete, amend your access, without notice, should you provide false information to Spiraluniverse or impersonate another party. We may also report users to the appropriate authorities if we suspect illegal use of the site. We reserve the right to determine what the appropriate use of the site is.

The focus for most of our services is London but as we grow, this will extend to other cities in the UK and globally. Non UK-users are free to browse and join in. Some of our services are limited to members who live in London and/or other parts of the UK Spiraluniverse reserves the right to delete a posting if it is irrelevant to the specified geographical area.

Some parts of your profile is displayed to other site users to assist networking and interaction. You can change this at anytime.

Amending your information

We will attempt to keep you informed about updates at Spiraluniverse.org. We will try not to bombard you with information and you may chose to can opt out of these updates. You may amend or delete any of your personal information at any time by logging into your account and accessing the relevant feature.

Canceling your membership

You may cancel your membership of Spiraluniverse at any time by contacting us. If you have subscribed to the monthly newsletter, however, you will continue to receive this. To unsubscribe, simply follow the instructions at the bottom of the newsletter.

Your conduct

By going on to the Spiraluniverse site you agree:

• to be entirely responsible for your conduct and all materials including, photos, text, links and other content that you post on the site;
• to familiarize yourself with our safety tips and to use the internet in a responsible and safe way;
• not to post, distribute or otherwise upload any inappropriate content;
• not to infringe or violate any party’s intellectual property or send any chain letters, junk mail, 'spamming' material or any other form of bulk communication;
• not to do anything which will or might damage, interfere with, disrupt access to, interrupt or impair the functionality of the material available on the site;
• not to engage in commercial activities and/or sales such as contests, sweepstakes, barter, advertising or pyramid schemes without our prior written consent; and
• not to obtain or attempt to obtain unauthorized access to the site or any private or member account areas on the site.

Spiraluniverse defines inappropriate content as materials that are illegal, fraudulent, threatening, abusive, libelous, defamatory, obscene, indecent or sexually suggestive or otherwise unlawful or objectionable or offensive. In addition, Spiraluniverse reserves the right to include in this category any materials that do not fit within the ethos and principles of Spiraluniverse and the Christian Faith.

Classifieds and Public Forums

When you post information in any section, including discussion threads and the classifieds, this information can be accessed by the public and can in turn be used by those people to send you unsolicited communications.

Third party adverts and links

Spiraluniverse contains links to other sites and also places other companies’ and entities’ adverts on its pages. We are not responsible for the policies and/or practices on those sites. Read policies on other sites before using them. Our policies and Terms of Use only govern information collected on Spiraluniverse.

Fees

We reserve the right to charge fees for our services and to periodically revise our fees in our discretion. If your membership is terminated for any reason, you will not be entitled to the refund of any unused portion of the fees.

Use of Cookies

SpiralUniverse uses cookies to store login details, your preferences and to record session information. This provides us with data that we can use to make are service more efficient. Most browsers are set up to accept cookies, but you can change your browser settings to reject all or some cookies, or notify you when a cookie is set. Doing this means that you may not be able to take full advantage of our website.

The content on the website is for information purposes. Any action taken in relation to this content is at your discretion and risk. We deny liability for any such actions including, but not limited to any or all of the following:

We try to make sure that Spiraluniverse meets your expectation in everyway. If you have any suggestions as to improving the sites, let us know. We may not be able to acknowledge your communication, or give you feedback, but we do listen and will take it seriously. From time to time these Terms of Use and the privacy policy may be updated. Users are advised to periodically review these agreements.
